Our 2021 camping season will end in November as we continue to develop our property.
the winter months the Bear Notch Ski Touring grooms xc-ski trails straight through our property. Guests may purchase a ticket from our store and step out their cabin and onto the groomed ski trails. Alpine skiers have a 2 mile drive to the nearest ski resort Attitash. If spectating is your sport, enjoy the view from your front deck with a hot cup of cocoa. Many local bands play at the base of the nearest resort all ski weekends of the winter months.
SKI MOUNTAINS
 Attitash MountainLocated 2.3 miles from Alpine Garden Campground is Attitash Mountain Resort. The resort offers 68 trails and 11 lifts across two big, connected mountains (Attitash & Bear Peak) that combine traditional New England runs and challenging terrain with modern, wide-open cruisers suited for all abilities. Updated snowmaking on 98% of terrain and robust grooming make Black a sure bet for quality skiing and riding any day of the season. On a powder day, locals choose Black as the place to be for its manicured glades, summit steeps and non-existent lift lines. |
